Suchitra Sairam is pleased to present her student Diya Satish in her first public solo performance. Traditionally, the Salangai Pooja (prayer for the bells) is conducted after the dancer achieves a base level of competency, and is the first occasion on which a dancer wears his or her bells in public performance. The brief prayer will be followed by a one hour performance by Diya.
