Suchitra Sairam has the privilege of presenting a piece in the first Oothakaadu Venkatakavi Aradhana in Minnesota. The one day festival celebrating the compositions of Sri Oothakaadu Venkatakavi is organized by the Minnesota chapter of famed chitraveena artist Ravikiran’s organization, International Foundation of Carnatic Music. “Samarpanam” – Fundraiser to benefit the Hindu Society of Minnesota

Suchitra Sairam joins several local artists to present “Samarpanam“, an evening of Indian classical dances. The program will feature solo and group performances in several of the classical dance traditions of India, including Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohini Attam, Kathak and Odissi. All of the proceeds benefit the Hindu Mandir of Minnesota.
