Suchitra Sairam is pleased to present her students Meghana Acharya and Arjun Acharya in their first major public performance. Traditionally, the Salangai Pooja (prayer for the bells) is conducted after the dancer achieves a base level of competency, and is the first occasion on which a dancer wears his or her bells in public performance. The brief prayer will be followed by a one hour performance by Meghana and Arjun, featuring solo and duet performances.
