Suchitra Sairam performs one of the lead roles as the “kurathi” (gypsy) in the dance drama Varunapuri Kuravanji. The production is presented as a part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the Nritya School of Bharatanatyam, founded by one of Suchitra’s gurus, Smt. Padmini Chari.
